Co-founder and Pastor Rosa Burwell

Pastor Rosa A. Burwell, a native of Raleigh, NC, holds an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice and a Paralegal Certification. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Counseling.

 

Since helping to found Upon This Rock Ministries in 2000, Co-Pastor Burwell has played a key role in its growth, impacting the community through various initiatives, youth programs, and spiritual development workshops. Licensed and ordained in 2003, she founded the "Whatever the Cost" Women's Bible study to empower women in the ministry and beyond.

 

Her mission is to inspire others to walk in faith and fulfill their God-given purpose. A devoted wife to Pastor Clint F. Burwell Sr., she is also a mentor and mother figure to many. Co-Pastor Burwell’s goal is to reflect God’s goodness and add souls to the Kingdom of Heaven.

 

In her spare time, she enjoys studying biblical history and spending time with her family. Co-Pastor Rosa welcomes everyone to experience the transformative power of faith at Upon This Rock Ministries.
